WANA, April 24: Several people were injured as a building collapsed in a religious seminary in a tribal area, where Pakistan Army and tribesmen accused of sheltering Taliban and Al Qaeda near the Afghan border were to sign a peace deal on Saturday.

The building collapsed in South Waziristan as a large number of people were sitting on a roof of a madressah to witness the signing ceremony.

Several people were buried under debris of the collapsed building.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital. Witnesses said they saw some people in critical condition.

The accident delayed the signing of the peace deal which aims to end fighting in the area.-PPI
