LAHORE, April 22: The Punjab government in a major reshuffle transferred and posted around 32 senior officers here on Thursday. They included 25 DMG officers, and two DIGs.
Ten of the DMG officers were in BS-20, four BS-19 and 11 BS-17.
Punjab Employees Social Security Institution Commissioner Qazi Afaq Hussain was transferred and posted as Tourism Department Managing Director in place of Raees Abbas Zaidi. Mr Zaidi was posted as Social Welfare Director General in place of Mazhar Ali Khan and Mr Afaq was replaced by OSD Capt Naveed Akram Cheema (retired). Mr Khan was posted as HUD&PHE Department Special Secretary.
Education (Schools) Special Secretary Hasan Nawaz Tarar was transferred and posted as Tourism and Resorts Development Department Secretary. Vehari DCO Imtiaz Tajwar was transferred and posted as Education (Schools) Special Secretary and was replaced by OSD Muhammad Ayub Qazi.
Wildlife Director General Muhammad Tariq Ayub was transferred and posted as Punjab Small Industries Managing Director in place of Tariq Shafi, who was made an OSD. Punjab Public Relations Additional Director General Gulzar Hussain Syed was transferred and posted as Lahore Museum Director.
Minimum Wages Board Chairperson Rafeya Nazir was transferred and posted as P&D Member. Khushab DCO Zafar Aziz Chaudhry was transferred and made an OSD. He was replaced by OSD Zafar Iqbal after his promotion to BS-19.
Ex-servicemen Re-employment Board Secretary Maj Shakil Ahmad (retired) was transferred and posted as Wildlife Director General in place of Muhammad Tariq Ayub. Punjab Employees Social Security Institution Vice-chairman Capt Muhammad Younas (retired) was transferred and posted as Agriculture Marketing Department Additional Secretary.
Government Servants Housing Foundation Finance and Computerization General Manager Mian Muhammad Zulqernain was given additional charge of BoR Director General (Relief). OSD Fayyaz Mir was posted as Sargodha DIG in place of Asif Nawaz Warraich who was transferred and posted as DIG Headquarters.
In a partial notification, Lahore DDO (Revenue) Afshan Kiran Imtiaz was transferred and posted as Education Department Under Secretary. She was replaced by DDO Revenue Under Training (UT) Musdasir Waheed Malik. Ferozewala DDO Revenue Naeemuddin Rathore was transferred and posted as Malakwal DDO Revenue.
Lahore DDO Revenue (UT) Noreen Bashir was transferred and posted as Ferozewala DDO Revenue. Kasur DDO Revenue UT Ghulam Farid was transferred and posted as Choa Saiden Shah DDO Revenue. Gujranwala DDO Revenue UT Aamir Ijaz Akber was transferred and posted as Sialkot DDO Revenue. T.T Singh DDO Revenue UT Yawar Hussain was transferred and posted as Phalia DDO Revenue.
Sheikhupura DDO Revenue UT Ahsan Bhutta was transferred and posted as Safdarabad DDO Revenue. Sargodha DDO Revenue Khalid Mahmud Sheikh was transferred and his services were given to DG LDA Lahore. Multan DDO Revenue UT Javed Akhtar Mahmood was transferred and posted as Sargodha DDO Revenue.
Gujranwala City DDO Revenue Muhammad Aitzaz was transferred and posted as DDO Revenue Fort Abbas. Gujranwala DDO Revenue UT Usman Ali Khan was transferred and posted as Gujranwala City DDO Revenue. Rawalpindi DDO Revenue UT Saulat Ijaz Piracha was transferred and posted as Jhelum DDO Coordination.
Faisalabad DDO Revenue UT Ahmad Aziz Tarrar was transferred and posted as Kamalia DDO Revenue. Gujrat DDO Revenue UT Saqib Manan was transferred and posted as Jhelum DDO Revenue against a vacant post.
