Condolences sent to Bangladesh


ISLAMABAD, April 18: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Sunday condoled with President of Bangladesh Prof Dr Iajuddin Ahmed and Begum Khaleda Zia, respectively, on the loss of lives caused by tornadoes in Mymensing and Netrakona.

Expressing sorrow over the deaths, the president said: "We pray for the departed souls. Our hearts go out in sympathy to the families of the victims of this tragic incident." The prime minister, in his sepmarate condolence message, said: "Our people share the grief of their brethren in Bangladesh.

Conveying condolences in this regard, the prime minister said: "Our prayers are with the bereaved families. May Allah grant them strength to bear this loss with equanimity". -APP
