ISLAMABAD, April 17: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and former senator Asif Ali Zardari has called for finding a political solution to the Wana problem.

Talking to reporters after the hearing in a reference against him at an accountability court in Rawalpindi on Saturday, the jailed PPP leader feared that after a ceasefire in Kashmir, Wana could become another battlefield.

Mr Zardari said removal of uniform would be beneficial for Gen Musharraf as he could live in the Presidency even without it. He was of the view that Article 6 was no solution to the political problems being faced by the country. He also called for creating awareness among the people regarding their duties in order to make the country prosperous.
