Two Indian troops killed


JAMMU, April 15: Two Indian border troops deployed for next week's elections were killed on Thursday when suspected freedom fighters ambushed their vehicle in occupied Kashmir, police said.

A police spokesman said five other troopers from the Border Security Force were seriously injured when the landmine blew up their vehicle in Daksar village near Udhampur garrison, 60 kilometres northeast of Jammu. -AFP
