QUETTA, April 10: Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani has said that the Engineering University Khuzdar would soon have mining and mineral departments and this institution would also be associated with Peshawar Engineering University.

Speaking to the students during his visit to Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar, on Thursday, he said that the government was taking special steps for the promotion of engineering education in the province.

He said that the Higher Education Commission has approved Rs. 33.7 million for the engineering university at Khuzdar while he had provided 12 million rupees for other necessary facilities to this institution.

The governor also visited Divisional Public School and Girls Degree College, Khuzdar.
