KARACHI, April 8: Azam Hussain, the young slow left-armer, claimed a career-best eight for 113 as Karachi drew their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match against Rawalpindi at the UBL Sports Complex on Thursday.
Azam finished with a match haul of 13 for 236, having captured five for 123 in Rawalpindi's first innings. Rawalpindi were all out for 242 in the second innings after starting the fourth and final day at 132 for four.
Karachi, who needed 226 for victory in 49 overs, struggled to 171 for seven despite a fine knock of 72 by ex-Test left-handed opener Shadab Kabir.
