Naveed heroics beat hosts

KARACHI, April 4: A brilliant unbeaten knock of 122 by Rawalpindi skipper Naveed Qureshi dented Karachi's hopes of winning the Quaid-i-Azam One-day Cup at the UBL Sports Complex on Sunday.

Naveed, who hit 13 fours and three sixes while facing 99 balls, helped his side to 269 for seven in the 47th over after Shadab Kabir had made a 110-ball 106 in Karachi's score of 267 for nine.
