ISLAMABAD, April 3: Senior vice-president of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Fauzaia Shahid, general secretary C.R. Shamsi, chairman of All-Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (Apnec) , Pervaiz Shaukat and general secretary Nasir Chishti have condemned what they called victimization of Ahfazur Rehman, magazine editor of daily Jang and his removal from service.

In a joint press statement here on Friday they said as the 7th Wage Award issue has entered a crucial stage, newspaper owners have started victimizing newsmen. They termed the removal of the PFUJ chairman part of the same anti-worker plan.
