MADRID, April 2: Spanish authorities announced on Friday the discovery of a bomb on a high-speed railway line between Madrid and Seville and said the device was similar to ones used just three weeks ago in the country's worst terror attack.
Interior Minister Angel Acebes said early indications suggested the bomb was similar to explosives used in the March 11 bombings on four commuter trains that killed 191 people, but urged caution until the device had been properly analysed in Madrid.
"At the moment, the information I have is that the explosive - and (I say) this with caution and while awaiting an analysis - is the same as the one which was used on March 11," added Acebes.-AFP
