An article by Mr Munirul Haq entitled "It could have been avoided" was published in Dawn's Sunday Magazine on March 14.
The CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mr Ramiz Raja, in a communication to Dawn asserts that the allegations of corruption and mismanagement made in the article are baseless, incorrect and uncalled for.
He has stated that the issue of the sale of tickets at Karachi for the first ODI has been blown out of proportion to malign him inasmuch as he, being the CEO of the PCB, only executes the policies and decisions of the PCB and had no vested interest in the arrangement of sale of tickets for the ODI at Karachi.
