PESHAWAR, March 7: The Pakistan People's Party has condemned the murder of Sindh Assembly MPA Abdullah Murad Baloch in Karachi on Saturday and urged the government to arrest the killers.

In a statement, PPP provincial chief Khwaja Mohammad KhanHoti termed the murder the worst kind of terrorism. He alleged that the Sindh government was directly involved in the murder of Mr Baloch. Sindh governor and chief minister could not absolve themselves from the murder of PPP law maker and his driver, he added.

In a separate statement, PPP provincial information secretary Khwaja Yawar Naseer also condemned the murder. He said the recent bomb blast in Rawalpindi imambargah, killing of scores of mourners in Quetta on Ashur day and attack on a Tank imambargah had proved the failure of government in maintaining peace. He also criticized the operation in Wana.
