NAWABSHAH: Water plant set up at hospital

By Our Correspondent

NAWABSHAH, Feb 26: Indus Rangers district commandant Col Naeem Sadiq inaugurated a water purification plant at the People's Medical College Hospital Road on Thursday to provide free drinking water to the patients.

Talking to journalists, Col Naeem said it was a welfare project launched by the Pakistan Rangers that required the involvement and support of the public. He said contaminated water was a major problem for the people and added that clean water would soon be supplied to all parts of the town through additional projects of the Rangers as well as non-government organizations.

Col Naeem, who was accompanied by District Police Officer Dr Sarwar Jamali and PMCH medical superintendent Dr Nisar Shaikh, announced that a plant was also being set up at Manuabad.
