Iranian first lady to preside over meeting
ISLAMABAD, Feb 8: First lady of Iran Zohrah Sadiqi, wife of Iranian president Syed Mohammad Khatami, will preside over the international conference of Khawateen Karbala on Monday.
Chairperson Markazi Imam Hussain Council Ladies Wing Barrister Rubab Mehdi said 700 women scholars from various school of thought would participate in the event. The theme of the conference will be the teachings of Khawateen Karbala and unity of Muslim Ummah. -APP
