ISLAMABAD: Rock band enthrals audience with live performance

BY Jamal Shahid

ISLAMABAD, Feb 6: Noori, a Lahore-based rock band, enthralled the audience at the Islamabad Club auditorium on Thursday evening.

It was the first-ever live performance by the band in the federal capital. The concert was arranged by a private concern, Beyond Elastic Limits (BEL) to benefit physically challenged persons.

The live performance by Ali Noor, Ali Hamza, Gumbi and Ali Gaffary of the rock band turned out to be a hit as the crazed fans were driven wild by loud volume levels and virtuoso guitar and drum solos.

The audience was unable to resist the temptation and were out of their seats swaying at every strum of the Ali Hamza's electric guitar and jumping at every beat of Gumbi's drums.

The young elite of Islamabad, always ready for electrifying popular music were completely thrilled by Noori's Jana Tha Hum Ne, Suno Ke Main Hoon Jawan, Dil Ke Qasam, and the all time hit Manwaa Rey besides several other Urdu, Punjabi and English compositions.

The K2K project is a campaign to create awareness about the physically challenged people and make them believe in their hidden potential.
