PESHAWAR: BISE announces results

PESHAWAR, Jan 26: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar on Monday announced the results of Intermediate Supplementary examination held in 2003.

According to results released, 8,426 students appeared in the supplementary examinations out of whom 2,819 were declared passed. The pass percentage of students is 33.46.

Among the passing students, only one bagged an A1 grade which is 80 per cent and above and is considered outstanding. While, 25 obtained an A grade, 92 B grade, 664 C grade, 1825 D grade and 182 E grade.

According to break-up of 8426 students, 419 appeared in the Pre-Medical group, of whom 362 passed the exam. Similarly, 487 appeared in Pre-Engineering group of whom 230 passed. In the General Science group, 330 students appeared and 118 passed the exam.

The maximum number of students appeared from the Humanities group which is 6828, and only 2073 passed the exam. Around 22 appeared from the Theology group and only six passed the exam, 2 appeared in PITE all fail and 138 in additional subjects out of which 30 passed.-APP
