LAHORE, Jan 21: The condition of Justice Khwaja Mohammad Sharif of the Lahore High Court and his wife, who were attacked by their former servant on Tuesday, is stated to be satisfactory.

"The condition of my parents is stable," Khwaja Bilal told this agency on Wednesday evening, hoping that they would be discharged from the hospital within a week.

Governor Khalid Maqbool, National Assembly Speaker Ameer Husain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Mohammad Afzal Sahi and Jamaat-i-Islami amir Qazi Husain Ahmad inquired after the couple at the National Hospital in Defence.-APP
