PESHAWAR, Jan 20: Two persons were killed and three injured over a property dispute here on Dalazak road on Tuesday morning. According to police officials , Arbab Jehanzeb and his nephew Sabir Ahmad, residents of Kankola, were going to the district and sessions court with their companions Sabir Ahmad, Farooq, Rehman Shah and Ashiq, all residents of Mian Gujjar, in Jehanzeb's car to appear in a murder case.

When their car came on Dalazak road, armed men from the rival party opened indiscriminate fire and killed Arbab Jehanzeb and Sabir Ahmad on the spot. Farooq, Rehman Shah and Ashiq received severe bullet injuries and were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital, police said.

The assailants fled in their Land Cruiser. However, they abandoned the vehicle in Daudzai area, which was later seized by the police. None of the murderers could be arrested till filing of this report.

Arbab Shujaat, brother of Arbab Jehanzeb, nominated Arbab Tasleem, Akbar Hayat and his brother Liaquat Hayat, sons of Jalal, and Iftikhar, son of Purdel, all residents of Kankola village, in the double murder case.
