KARACHI: Two die in accidents

KARACHI, Jan 8: Two persons died in separate road accidents on late Wednesday night in the city. Police said that Jamal, 20, was going on his motorcycle when he fell and hit his head against the pavement near Safee College in North Nazimabad. The victim was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital but was pronounced dead.

In another accident, a security guard died in a hit-and-run road accident at Rashid Minhas Road. The police said that Jehangir, 38, was going home after his duty when an unknown vehicle knocked him down. The injured was taken to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

SUICIDE: A teenager committed suicide in Landhi on Thursday. Police said that Noman, 18, shot himself in the head after being scolded by his father. The police said that Noman was scolded by his father over his studies, and in a fit of depression, shot himself in the head with his father's pistol after locking his room.
