KARACHI, Jan 4: Sindh governor has appointed Prof Masood Hameed Khan as vice-chancellor of Dow university. According to a notification issued from the Governor House , Prof Masood has been promoted to grade 21, in recognition of his meritorious services as professor of the institution.

Prof Masood graduated from the Dow Medical College in 1978, passed MCPS exams in 1981 and FCPS (Med) in 1983. He has been working as a professor since 1996. He obtained his FRCP from Edinburgh in 2000.

Prof Masood has also served the Chandka Medical College and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. He has many research papers to his credit, added the notification.
