KARACHI, Jan 3: Pakistan will have last session on Sunday before leaving for Kuala Lumpur to take part in the Jan 8 to 18 Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament that serves a build-up to Athens Olympics.

Pakistan will be the defending champions of the competition where world champions Germany, Australia, Spain, South Korea, Malaysia and India will be vying for top honours.

The team is scheduled to have a morning session before leaving for the Malaysian capital Sunday night.

The team members had sessions today under the chief coach Roelant Oltmans and goalkeeping coach Ronald Jansen, the two Dutchmen hired by the Pakistan Hockey Federation recently.

They had training on entirely different pattern as compared to past traditional practice games, concentrating on defence and attack drills in a limited area, while Oltmans also tested their endurance and physical fitness after the sessions.
