HYDERABAD, Dec 23: The leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, has said the Constitution is being defaced by the rulers to establish the presidential form of government and added that judges are being given extension so that they support them.
He was speaking at a condolence meeting held to pay tribute to Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani in Phuleli on Monday night.
Mr Khuhro said the Constitution had no provision allowing a uniformed president and added that the people should resist such attempts.
