PESHAWAR, Dec 22: Bodies of two young men were found in fields along the Ring Road in the limits of the Bhana Mari police station here on Sunday.

Haji Shah Zaman, a resident of the Lala Rukh Colony, told the police that he was informed about murders of his nephew Noor Zareef, and a friend of his nephew, Sajjad. Both the deceased appeared to have been killed by Kalashnikov fire on fields belonging to Hayat Khan.

Mir Zaman, father of Noor Zareef, told the police that he had no enemies. The police have started investigating after registering a case in this regard.

KIDNAPPED: One person was allegedly kidnapped by his business partner over a monetary dispute, police officials said here on Monday.

Tariq Mahmood, a resident of Chitral, registered an FIR on Sunday evening with Kabuli police, stating that his father, Haji Mohammad Afzal, had come to Peshawar over a month ago in connection with some business work and was staying at a hotel in the Qissakhwani Bazaar.

Haji Afzal, he said, was found to be missing from the hotel on Nov 15, but later he contacted his brother-in-law Mohammad Ayaz, telling him that he was kidnapped by his business associate Saifullah in connection with a monetary dispute.

Haji Afzal, while talking on a cellular telephone, said his business partner was threatening him to call off a deal regarding the sale of a forest in Chitral.

Tariq Mahmood informed the police that under the deal, Saifullah was to pay more than Rs10 million to his father.

Mr Tariq accused Saifullah, his nephew Sirajuddin, and one of his cousins, Sarinoor, in the FIR. Police have started investigation.

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy, Enayatullah, was allegedly kidnapped by rivals of his parents from the Kagawala area in Badhber, police officials said.

The boy’s mother, Ms Shireen, lodged an FIR with the Badhber police.
