Two blasts rock Quetta

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Nov 20: The city was rocked on Thursday night when two powerful explosions took place near the railway station.

However, no casualty or serious damage was reported in either of the blasts.

The first explosion occurred near a overhead railway bridge built for the pedestrian. The bomb was planted under the bridge.

The bridge nevertheless remained safe.

The other bomb was planted in a drain near the wall of the railway police station. The wall of the police station was slightly damaged. No person was injured in the blast.

“Local made devices were used in both the blasts,” police sources said.

HURT: Meanwhile, one Khuda-i-Dost was injured in a landmine blast near Sui. The mine was planted on the roadside.
