D. I. Khan budget specified

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 15: More than 50 per cent of the budget has been allocated for development projects in Dera Ismail Khan during the current fiscal year.

Dera Ismail Khan Tehsil Nazim Fatehullah Khan Miankhel, while talking to

APP here on Thursday, said that every union council has been given equal funds for the development projects.

He said the tehsil government had specified more than 50 per cent of the budget for development projects for Dera Ismail Khan union councils to bring for the progress and prosperity of the area.

In the first quarter of the current fiscal year the tehsil government has approved many development projects for all the union councils on equal basis.

Similarly, the tehsil council has got approved Rs9.7 million from the provincial grant for various development projects including drinking water, construction of roads and streets and drainage system.
