KARACHI, Nov 6: Acting President Mohammedmian Soomro was Thursday informed about the ongoing development schemes and law and order situation in the province at a meeting with Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan at Governor House.
The governor also briefed
the acting president about efforts being made for promotion of economic activities in
the province as well as other measures, including prices of essential items during Ramazan.
Mohammedmian Soomro appreciated the efforts being made by the governor in connection with the continuity of policies towards development of the province, good governance and promotion of economic sector.
The Senate chairman also visited the residence of provincial minister for education Irfan Marwat in Karachi.
During the meeting, they discussed political and other matters.—APP
