Nazim criticized for ‘stealing’ record

GUJRANWALA, Nov 3: The Saddar tehsil council has criticized its Nazim for allegedly stealing the record of no-trust move passed against him by a majority in the house.

At a meeting presided over by Naib Nazim Sardar Inamul Haq, opposition leader Adnan Balagan and other members of the house passed a resolution against Nazim Mubashar Ahmad Cheema for such an act.

Through another resolution, the tehsil municipal officer has been asked not to comply with the directives of the Nazim to avoid complications.

The officials were informed that the incident of stealing record had been reported to the higher authorities.

The participants also offered fateha for Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and Millat-i-Islamia chief Maulana Azam Tariq.

NO SALARIES: The daily wagers of the city tehsil council have complained that they have not been given their salaries for the last two months.
