PESHAWAR, Oct 30: Opposition leader in the NWFP Assembly Shehzada Muhammad Gustasap Khan has said that the opposition is not making any plans to topple the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government in the North-West Frontier Province.

Talking to PPI before leaving the city for Lahore to attend the opposition leaders’ conference he said, the opposition did not want to topple the NWFP government and only wanted to show it the right path.

However, he added that it was evident from statements of the government that there was something wrong.

Talking about the opposition leaders’ conference to be held at Lahore, he said that it was very important to develop a consensus on national issues and highlight problems of all four provinces.

He said that he would try his level best to highlight issues facing the North-West Frontier Province in the conference and advocate his province’s case in the best manner.

He further said the opposition in the North-West Frontier Province assembly was united and was working for the promotion of democratic norms.—PPI
