PESHAWAR: Mushaira

PESHAWAR, Oct 22: The Peshawar University Teachers Association arranged a mushaira on Tuesday.

All the noted poets of the city took part in the mushaira presided over by  Prof Khatir Ghaznavi.

Prof Mohammad Taha Khan was the chief guest.

The poets included, Prof Tariq Hashmi, Badshah Munir Bukhari, Iftikhar Qaisar, Akmal Naeem, Dr Nazir Tabassum, Dr Sabir Klorvi, Mukhtiar Ali Nayyer, Aziz Ijaz, Prof Nasir Ali Sayed, Bushra Farrukh and Prof Abaseen Yousafzay.

The association’s president, Arbab Khan Afridi, said it would continue to organize literary gatherings.
