KARACHI: Dawn staffer grieved

KARACHI, Oct 22: Sami Adil, uncle of Dawn staff reporter Arman Sabir, died after a long illness on Wednesday. He was 60.

He was buried at the Sakhi Hasan graveyard. Soyem will be held on Friday after Juma prayers at R-125, Sector 14-B, Shadman Town, North Karachi for women and at Masjid-i-Khizra for men.

Mr Adil had recently retired from the National Bank of Pakistan. He was an artist who performed in many stage and TV plays, including Mirza Ghalib Bunder Road Par, Sitara Aur Meherunnisa, Tasweer and Green Card.
