PESHAWAR, Oct 11: The Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child on Saturday expressed concern over the non-implementation of the Juvenile Justice System Ordinance, 2000, and urged the government to enact the law in letter and spirit to help the children get justice.

The views were expressed by the society’s deputy national coordinator, Arshad Mehmood, at a workshop on Saturday, where the stakeholders, including police officials, elected representatives, journalists and lawyers discussed the role of police in the light of the ordinance, a press release said.
