ISLAMABAD, Oct 8: The ministry of health on Wednesday announced formation of a national fortification alliance to guide the National Nutrition Programme for development of multi-sectoral places to combat micronutrient deficiencies in the country.
The objective of the 19-member forum is to provide a platform to develop, evaluate, finalize, create an enabling environment to enhance public-private partnership in combating micronutrient deficiencies and monitor implementation of the programme.
The NFA will be led by Health Minister Mohammad Nasir Khan.
