Narrow win for Generation School

KARACHI, Oct 7: Generation School pulled off a thrilling victory by one wicket against ISS in the Askari Intermediate inter-school cricket tournament on Tuesday.

Generation, chasing a small target of 95, lost nine wickets before achieving their objective in the 20th over of the 25-over per side match at the PAD Park.

Karachi Grammar School, in contrast, romped to a crushing 157-run win over Jafar Public School at the NBP Sports Complex.

In another match, played later in the day at the same venue, St Michael’s School thrashed Foundation Public School by 76 runs.

On Monday, Avicenna School defeated Progressive School by a margin of 37 runs at the PAD Park.
