ISLAMABAD, Oct 4: A hoax bomb call created panic among the students and teachers

of Humdard University, Islamabad campus, on Friday night, police and bomb disposal experts said.

Mr Owais, a senior staff member, received an anonymous call late at night that a bomb had been planted in the university building that would explode shortly. No sooner the call was received than the university administration got the building evacuated and called in the bomb disposal experts, Margallah police, fire brigade and rescue 15.

The bomb disposal experts and the police searched the entire building but could not find any explosive device. They said it was a hoax call.
