RAWALPINDI, Oct 3: The Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Margaret Huber, has stressed the need for global efforts to eradicate drug menace.
The Canadian High Commissioner was speaking as the chief guest at the graduation ceremony of Advanced Drug Law Enforcement Course conducted by Canadian trainers under the auspice of United Nations Office on Drug and Crimes (UNODC) and Anti-Narcotics Law Enforcement School.
The high commissioner also highlighted the importance of training in counter narcotics for coordinating efforts at national and international level.
She appreciated the efforts of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and the UNODC in this regard and hoped these would continue in the future. Ms Huber appreciated the commandant of Anti-Narcotics Law Enforcement School and the UNODC for providing her with the opportunity to talk on drug menace.
In the end, she distributed certificates among the course participants.
