Two bandits held after encounter

JACOBABAD, Sept 27: The police arrested two alleged bandits after an encounter in Jacobabad on Friday.

The police received an information about the presence of the dacoits near Eidgah of the city.

A heavy police contingent reached on the spot and surrounded the area.

The bandits opened fire on it which was returned by the police.

The encounter lasted for an hour as a result the locality of Eidgah and Quetta road wore a deserted look and fear gripped the area.

Finally, the police forced the bandits, Eidan Bhangwar and Dad Mohammad Dombki, to surrender and recovered two Kalashnikovs, four magazines and bullets from their possession.

Police constable Ghulam Abbas was injured in the encounter.

Eidan was allegedly involved in the killing of Balochistan DIG Abdul Aziz Bullo and 51 other cases of heinous crimes.
