House burgled

HARIPUR, Sept 23: Armed bandits broke into a house and took away cash and other valuables in the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station on Monday night.

Omer Kiyani, a resident of village Mohra Ghazan, Khanpur, told the police that three armed bandits scaled the wall and entered his house in his absence. The intruders held his wife and two children at gunpoint and decamped with Rs200,000 and 20 tola gold ornaments.—Correspondent
