Peace Day observed

ISLAMABAD, Sept 21: Peace Day was observed all over the world including Pakistan on Sunday.

Islamabad reaffirmed its commitment to the UN charter and its principles of peace and development as well as peaceful settlement of disputes.

A foreign office statement said: “Pakistan has consistently called for early resumption of dialogue with India to resolve all issues, including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir.”

It said Kashmiris must be given right to self-determination in accordance with the UN resolutions. —APP
