NAWABSHAH, Sept 19: Conspiracies to divide the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal will fail as the alliance will remain intact till achieving its charter.

This was stated by Allama Hassan Turabi, provincial president, Islami Tehrik and member MMA, while speaking at a workers meeting at the Murtazwi Imambargah, Mohni Bazaar, on Thursday.

He said that the MMA would never accept President Gen Musharraf in uniform and was showing him the door to exit.

He said that the government was veiling its follies by raising the issues of the Kalabagh dam and Thal canal and if these projects were constructed forcibly, it would give a great shock to the country’s solidarity and integrity.

He said that the Islami Tehrik was a peaceful religious and political party and wanted to unite Muslims and had done it by creating the MMA.

He advised the government not to send troops to Iraq.
