GUJRANWALA, Sept 15: Some 52 projects for smooth supply of power have been completed in Wazirabad division with an expenditure of Rs8 million while six others will be completed shortly with a cost of Rs1 million.

This was stated by Gujranwala Electric Power Company chief executive Brig Saifullah Khalid while speaking at an open court in Wazirabad on Monday.

He urged the consumers to check their meters and informed Wapda officials if found any fault in them.

He said Wapda officials had been restrained from removing transformers and cables at night, and appealed to the people to inform him if they found any official doing so.

He warned meter readers that they would be taken to task if they sent bills to consumers without reading.
