KARACHI, Sept 5: A dilapidated portion of the road from Siemens Chowrangi to Nauras Chowrangi impedes traffic by causing hardships to motorists, with about two-feet-deep potholes developing there.

A portion of the recently-build road has been left incomplete for unknown reasons, which has now been converted into a mud-track after the last month rains, but the authorities concerned are yet to initiate its construction.

The road, a main route of vehicles, coming towards Saddar, Pak Colony, Garden and other adjacent areas from the SITE, Baldia and Shershah, has become a picture of apathy on part of departments concerned.

As water tankers frequently use this road, owing to a hydrants on one side of the road, there are frequent traffic jams, which result in wastage of commuters’ time.
