Zarmeen and Jalil ranked top


KARACHI, Sept 3: Jalil Khan and Zarmeen Shoaib were ranked top in the recently issued men’s and women’s Sindh tennis rankings by Sindh Tennis Association (STA) on Wednesday.

Top four positions in each age category with points include:

Men singles: Jalil Khan (65 points); Adnan Khan (45 points); Akbar Patudi (40 points); Aqeel Khan (30 points).

Women’s singles: Zarmeen Shoaib (60 points); Hareem Fatima (40 points); Fatima Hai (30 points); Sana Bhagat (20 points).

Juniors Under-18 singles: Adnan Khan (75 points); Akbar Patudi, Amir Ali Khan, Samad Baluch with 50 points; Ali Abdullah (45 points); Danish Ahmed (35 points).

Boys Uunder-16: Yasir Khan (30 points); Ali Abdullah (20 points); Danish Ahmed (15 points); Shah Rukh Qureshi, Mustufa Nanji, Anil Das, Ali Asghar Bandeali, Amir Ali Khan (10).

Boys Under-14 singles: Ali Asghar Bandeali (85 points); Ghulam Abbas (75 points); Mateen Asif (55 points); Nasir Mustufa (50 points).

Boys Under-12: Ghulam Abbas (75 points); Zuhair Raza (40 points), Imer Shahid (40 points); Mustafa Jamali (30 points); Nasir Mushtaq (20 points)

Boys Under-10: Syed Zubair Razaq (45points); Talal Dar (30 points); Zarukh Ali Baig (20 points), Khawaja Hamza (20 points); Taha Bandeali (15 points), Tahir Hamzaq (15 points).

Juniors Uder-18 doubles: Saad Baluch (45 pounts) and Samad Baluch (45 points);, Adnan Khan and Yasir Khan (30 points); Ali Asghar and Ali Mohsin Bagat (25 points); Ali Abdullah and Amir Ali Khan (20 points).—PPI
