Sick units’ revival vowed

DADU, Aug 31: Federal Industries and Production Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi has said sick industries, including sugar mills, will soon be reopened.

Talking to Nazims, Naib Nazims, councillors and people of Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehar, Johi talukas in Mehar on Sunday, he said a policy was formulated to provide all facilities to industrialists in remote areas of the country.

About distribution of relief goods among the rain-affected people, he said the relief operation was continuing and any officer who was found negligent or involved in corruption would be suspended.

The minister assured more facilities to inhabitants of the Manchhar Lake area and said houses of the people damaged in the rains would be repaired.
