LAHORE, Aug 23: The Punjab government in collaboration with Nadra has decided to computerize entire data of citizens at tehsil level.

This was stated by the Punjab chief secretary at a meeting here on Saturday.

He said like foreign countries the Punjab would also have social security system under which every kind of information, like agriculture loans, driving and arm licences and registration of vehicle, would be linked with computerized ID card number.

He said the system would make the state affairs more transparent and fool-proof.

The Nadra chairman assured him full cooperation in this regard.

He said the project be launched from Lahore tehsil and provide every detail of a citizen.
