KARACHI: PPP-SB slams reinstatement of policemen

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Aug 22: The Pakistan People’s Party (Shaheed Bhutto) on Friday protested against the restoration and promotion of those police officials who were involved in the Murtaza Bhutto murder case.

At a meeting, presided over by party chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto, the PPP-SB said that a tribunal headed by Justice Nasir Aslam Zahid had indicated the involvement of some high authority in the Clifton tragedy. The party demanded that the high authority be exposed.

The party also demanded that under International Labour Organization resolutions, the interests of the labourers of the country should be safeguarded.
