PESHAWAR, Aug 17: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government has focused on the development of trade and industry in the province to give a boost to this important sector.

Asif Iqbal Daudzai, provincial minister for information, said this while speaking to a select gathering at Deans Shopping Plaza during a draw held for the members of the Peshawar Press Club on Saturday.

He said Peshawar was the gateway to Asia, and that was why his government was focusing on promoting trade and commerce.—PPI
