Legislators call on PM

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9: Legislators, including federal food minister, on Saturday called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Prominent, among those who met the prime minister, were president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, chief of the Millat Party MNA Sardar Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari, MPA Matiullah Agha of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, MNA Mrs Zeb Gohar Ayub Khan, Gohar Ayub Khan, MNA Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Balochistan provincial minister Abdur Rehman Jamali and Food and Agriculture Minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind.

During their separate meetings legislators discussed with the prime minister various political matters.

The PML-Q chief and the prime minister also discussed the on-going government-opposition talks and matters pertaining to the recent appointments of parliamentary secretaries. Both leaders reviewed the political situation and stressed the need for greater coordination between the PML and its allies.
