Malik Khurram Ali Khan of Pindi Gheb belonged to the PPP and Muhammad Shahwez Khan of Hassan Abdal to the PML-N.

Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi said the PML-Q was striving to achieve real objectives of the creation of the country. The real problem of the people was economic and the party was making all out efforts for the revival of economy, he added.

Attock Nazim Maj Tahir Sadiq (retired) said the inclusion of the tehsil Nazims into the PML-Q would not only strengthen the party but also help resolve problems of the district.

Shahwez Khan and Khurram Khan said they had decided to join the PML-Q because of the chief minister’s policy to develop the province. They appreciated the chief minister’s efforts to strengthen the local government system and the democratic institutions.

Meanwhile, talking to MNAs and MPAs of Sialkot here the chief minister said the government was concentrating on real issues of the people while promoting the politics of accommodation. Confrontation had always created political instability in the country, he said.
