NESPAK PLAN: The city Nazim has claimed that the design of the railway station intersection had been prepared in the light of proposals by NESPAK, traffic police and other departments concerned.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he claimed that the construction of a monument at the railway station intersection in the middle of the road would not create any traffic problems.

He said the round-about at the intersection was being reduced from 95 feet to 60 feet and the nullah of the irrigation department was being diverted which would improve the flow of traffic.

He said the plan was being executed under the Faisalabad beautification programme with the financial assistance of national and multinational companies.
