SEOUL, July 16: South Korea midfielder Park Ji-sung scored his first goal for PSV Eindhoven as the Dutch champions beat Germany’s 1860 Munich 4-2 in the Peace Cup pre-season tournament on Wednesday.

Mateja Kezman, Andre Ooijer and Arjen Robben were also on target for PSV, giving manager Guus Hiddink another win in Pusan, where he led South Korea to an historic 2-0 victory over Poland at the 2002 World Cup.

After that success — their first World Cup victory in six finals appearances — South Korea went on to become the first Asian team to reach the World Cup semifinals, turning Hiddink into a national hero.

Park, who has struggled with a knee injury since March, marked his first goal for PSV since signing from Japanese club Kyoto Purple Sanga last December when he equalised to make it 1-1 in the 51st minute.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Galaxy drew 0-0 with Nacional of Uruguay in the other Group B match on day two of the Peace Cup.

Results: Group B: PSV Eindhoven (NED) 4 (Park Ji-Sung 50, Kezman 63, Ooijer 89, Robben 93) 1860 Munich (GER) 2 (Schroth 9, Kioyo 81)
